TechFlow reported on January 23 that, according to Cointelegraph, the U.S. Nasdaq Exchange has filed a rule change application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) proposing to eliminate position limits on options contracts for Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds. Submitted on January 7 and effective this past Wednesday, the proposal removes the previous cap of 25,000 contracts, covering cryptocurrency ETFs listed on Nasdaq by firms including BlackRock, Fidelity, Bitwise, Grayscale, ARK/21Shares, and VanEck.
