TechFlow news, January 14 — According to The Block, hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger has officially launched its "Bitcoin Yield" feature. This functionality is enabled through integrations with Lombard and Figment.
Ledger's Executive Vice President Jean-Francois Rochet stated that the product aims to expand how long-term holders and active traders interact with Bitcoin and decentralized finance. Ledger noted that despite Bitcoin's market capitalization of approximately $2.1 trillion, only about 1.5% of Bitcoin is currently active on-chain.
