TechFlow news — On January 14, according to official announcements, Web3 gaming giant Animoca Brands has completed its acquisition of SOMO, a digital collectibles and gaming company. SOMO focuses on transforming digital collectibles into playable, streamable, and tradable assets, with products including SOMO Codex, SOMO Duel, and its flagship game SOMO Battleground.
Following the acquisition, Animoca Brands plans to leverage its existing Web3 ecosystem to advance the SOMO brand, drive cross-platform promotion, and foster joint community growth.
