TechFlow reports on January 12 that Camp Network has announced a partnership with film financing platform Mugafi, introducing Bollywood theatrical films to the blockchain as revenue-generating RWAs for the first time and opening community participation. The film is the major historical drama "Swari Agra," set to release on January 30.
Participants will receive a 40% annualized return, and the names of key contributors will be featured in the film's end credits.
This collaboration marks the first instance of institutional-grade on-chain financing for a Bollywood film, representing a significant step for the high-barrier film industry toward an open, permissionless RWA economy. At the same time, this model offers traditional film studios a new paradigm to rapidly and directly access global community capital, while enabling communities to directly participate in film production and marketing.
