TechFlow, Dec 30 — According to Bloomberg, the IPO market recovery in 2025 created 21 new billionaires, but this wealth did not last. Data from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index shows that these newly minted billionaires held stakes worth over USD 1 billion on their companies' first trading day, yet within subsequent weeks or months, the value of their holdings dropped by an average of 23%. Meanwhile, Asia's IPO markets show diverging trends: India's IPO market remains active, Vietnam's GSM plans overseas listing with a target valuation of USD 20 billion, while Thailand's IPO market continues to slump and Japan's number of small IPOs has fallen to a 12-year low.
