TechFlow, December 21 — According to on-chain analyst Yujin's monitoring, the whale/institution that lost 50 million USDT in a phishing attack has sent an on-chain message to the attacker, offering a $1 million white-hat bounty if the stolen 50 million USDT is returned. As of now, the attacker has not responded. However, it is highly unlikely the funds will be returned, as the money has already been converted into ETH and laundered through Tornado (Tornado Cash).
Previous report: The victim who lost $50 million in a phishing attack urged the hacker: If funds are returned within 48 hours, a $1 million white-hat bounty will be provided.
