TechFlow, December 5 — According to official news, the blockchain infrastructure protocol project IOTA announced the integration of the omnichain interoperability protocols LayerZero and Stargate into its mainnet, enabling smoother asset transfers, messaging, and cross-chain connectivity across more than 150 blockchains.
LayerZero's OFT standard eliminates fragmentation, enhances cross-chain liquidity, and ensures assets are future-compatible with evolving standards and integrations across both TradFi and DeFi. All OFT assets can be bridged between LayerZero-supported networks via the Stargate WebApp, delivering a seamless and convenient experience for all users.
With this integration, IOTA further builds an interoperable ecosystem, enabling seamless transmission across multiple blockchain ecosystems and allowing developers and users to participate in a truly unified Web3 environment. This accelerates asset flow, promotes developer adoption, and drives growth by increasing multi-chain asset liquidity, thereby supporting global trade and finance at scale.
With this integration, the IOTA mainnet will enter a phase that paves the way for the launch of various new assets. The first of these is Cyberperp’s native token CYB. Additionally, a leading stablecoin is set to be natively integrated into the IOTA mainnet ecosystem as a trusted medium of exchange, serving as the cornerstone for IOTA’s cross-continental global trade, finance, and supply chain applications.
