TechFlow, Dec 5 — According to Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with the matter, cloud computing startup Fluidstack is in talks to raise about $700 million in a new funding round, which would value the company at $7 billion. Situational Awareness, an investment firm founded by former OpenAI researcher Leopold Aschenbrenner, is expected to lead the round.
The sources said Alphabet Inc., Google's parent company, is also considering participating in the investment, while Goldman Sachs Group is serving as the financial advisor for the fundraising. The sources requested anonymity because the information has not yet been made public.
