TechFlow news, December 3 — According to Cryptopolitan, PayPal's stablecoin PYUSD has seen its market capitalization surge from $1.2 billion in September to approximately $3.8 billion, making it one of the fastest-growing stablecoins in the market.
PYUSD experienced a supply increase of about 113% in November and a transaction volume rise of 150% to 1.8 million transactions. Although relatively new compared to USDT and Circle's USDC, PYUSD has become the second-fastest growing stablecoin in Q3 2025, trailing only Ethena's USDe.
In September, PayPal integrated with LayerZero, expanding PYUSD to nine blockchains including Abstract, Aptos, Avalanche, Ink, Sei, Stable, and Tron, providing direct access for over 400 million PayPal and Venmo users.
