TechFlow, Nov. 18 — According to on-chain analyst Ember (@EmberCN), a whale suffered significant losses during a bottom-fishing operation on Ethereum. On November 10, this group purchased 22,880 ETH at a price of $3,570, totaling $81.68 million. Today, the group sold all its ETH for 67.95 million USDT, with an average selling price of $2,970 per ETH—resulting in a loss of $600 per ETH and total losses amounting to $13.73 million.
Monitoring data shows that the whale group's funds primarily originated from USDT withdrawals made last year from exchanges including Binance, MEXC, and Huobi. The funds were used to purchase ETH eight days ago and were sold today via four addresses.
