TechFlow news, November 18 — According to Hong Kong's Sing Tao Daily, two men holding two-way permits are suspected of raping a woman at a Mong Kok hotel earlier this month. Both have been charged with one count of rape and appeared for the first time at West Kowloon Magistrates' Court today. The defendants are 27-year-old Wang Bochuan and 24-year-old Xu Zilan, who are jointly charged with raping Woman X on November 4, 2025, at Regal View Hotel, 23 Nam Cheong Street, Mong Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
According to Web3 media Wu Shuo and confirmation from informed sources, the two individuals were previously BD staff at ME (formerly MetaEra). LinkedIn shows that Wang Bochuan obtained a Master of Laws degree from East China University of Political Science and Law in 2025.
