TechFlow news, November 16 — According to Decrypt, both Harvard University and Emory University increased their Bitcoin exposure through ETF holdings in the third quarter.
According to 13F filings submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, as of September 30, Harvard Management Company held over 6.8 million shares of BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), valued at approximately $442.8 million, a significant increase from the 1.906 million shares reported on June 30.
Emory University held over 1 million shares of Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust Fund in the third quarter, valued at nearly $52 million, a substantial increase from the previous quarter. The university also disclosed holding 4,450 shares of iShares Bitcoin Trust, valued at approximately $289,000.
