TechFlow, Nov 11 — According to GoPlus monitoring, the hacker who attacked Balancer used the permit() authorization mechanism to successfully transfer 195 stS tokens (worth approximately $3 million) from the frozen address 0xf19...fae2—originally frozen by Sonic Labs—to a new address 0x0e9c...44D5, and then swapped them into WBTC and ETH, thereby bypassing the asset freeze measures on the original address.
