TechFlow news, November 11 — Davide Crapis, head of the EF dAI Team, revealed that the decentralized AI (dAI) team has released its 2026 roadmap aiming to establish Ethereum as the global decentralized settlement and coordination infrastructure for artificial intelligence.
The post mentioned that ERC-8004 and x402 are emerging as neutral standards for agent commerce. Over the three months from August to November 2025, the dAI team has made significant progress. Their published ERC-8004 standard, designed to standardize agent identity, reputation, and cryptographic verification, now supports over 150 projects and a builder community of more than 1,000 members, becoming the most discussed formal improvement proposal in the Ethereum Magicians forum over the past year. Additionally, the team contributed the x402 protocol, which enables authenticated paid web requests.
