TechFlow, on November 1, a community user raised concerns on X about "possible upstream or downstream issues with EtherFi, claiming that a card which had never conducted any transactions or pre-authorizations was fraudulently charged, and advised suspending use."
In response, EtherFi CEO Mike Silagadze stated, "We are investigating the matter and communicating with our credit card partner. All users affected by fraudulent transactions will receive refunds."
