TechFlow news, October 28 — According to SlowMist Cosine's analysis, the attack on cross-chain bridge project 402Bridge appears to have originated from a private key leak, with insider involvement not ruled out. The domain 402bridge.fun ceased service just two days after registration. The attacker's address profited approximately 4.2 ETH, which has since been bridged to the Arbitrum network. Currently, there has been no further movement of the stolen funds. This marks the first publicly disclosed security incident related to 402 protocol services.
Previous reports indicated that the x402 cross-chain protocol "402bridge" was疑似 compromised, resulting in over 200 users collectively losing 17,693 USDC.
