Farcaster Node Setup Guide: The $180 Million-Funded Social Project
This guide will walk you through the process of setting up a Farcaster node step by step.

Farcaster is a decentralized social network that enables developers to build novel social applications. It is an open protocol capable of supporting many clients, much like email. Users will always be free to move their social identity across apps, and developers will always be able to freely build new applications on the network.
On May 21, 2024, Farcaster raised $150 million in a Series A round at a $1 billion valuation.
On July 13, 2022, Farcaster completed a $30 million seed funding round.
