The "Web3 Summit" Dubai series summit, co-hosted by Web3 Summit, BlockNews, and LBank Labs, has successfully concluded at Atlantis Dubai, emerging as a major highlight of this year's Dubai Blockchain Week. The event attracted over 100 industry leaders, representatives from renowned institutions, professional investors, and more than a thousand attendees from around the world.

The "Web3 Summit" Dubai series aims to become a key platform connecting global Web3 and fintech projects, fostering industry development and collaboration through on-site dialogues, expert exchanges, and partnership discussions. This summit brought together some of the most influential figures in the industry, including technology experts, innovative entrepreneurs, investors, and government representatives. Participants shared insights and experiences on blockchain technology, digital asset markets, and financial technology innovation, collectively exploring industry trends and future opportunities.
Through this summit, participants established connections, exchanged ideas, and formed deep partnerships, injecting fresh momentum into the advancement of the Web3 and fintech sectors.
The summit was inaugurated by Sheikh Ali Al Maktoum, nephew of Dubai’s ruler. Sheikh Ali Al Maktoum highlighted Dubai’s regulatory advancements and expressed full support for market participants, aligning with Dubai’s digital transformation goals and reinforcing its position as a preferred destination for Web3 and blockchain businesses. He emphasized how Dubai and the UAE foster technological innovation through investor-friendly policies, creating a favorable environment for tech development.

Max, founder of BlockNews, delivered a keynote speech, sharing professional insights and future outlooks on the Web3 space, especially amid the approaching Bitcoin halving. She underscored the immense potential of Web3 technologies and their developmental trajectory. Max also introduced her background as the founder of BlockNews and her pivotal role in organizing the Web3 Summit. She stressed Dubai’s status as an innovation hub for the Web3 industry and emphasized that governmental support is crucial for advancing Web3 technologies. Her remarks received strong recognition and enthusiastic support from attendees.
Kaia Wang, Global Marketing Officer of LBank, also delivered opening remarks. She introduced LBank, the parent company of event organizer LBank Labs, highlighting its global growth and significant initiatives in advancing the Web3 sector. She encouraged active participation, insight-sharing, and engagement among industry players. Kaia expressed her hopes for meaningful collaborations and breakthroughs arising from the summit and extended warm wishes for an enjoyable experience to all attendees.
Professor Feida Zhu from Singapore Management University delivered an inspiring keynote titled “When Web3 Meets AI: Opportunities and Prospects.” Professor Zhu noted that while current AI models show great promise, challenges remain in data privacy, fairness in model execution, and the creation and spread of misinformation. In these areas, the unique strengths of Web3 technology could play a vital role. He emphasized that digital nativity represents a new phase and strategic direction in digitization, and the convergence of AI and Web3 offers industries a broader, lower-cost, more accessible, and scalable technical framework, enabling deeper digital transformation across sectors.
Throughout the summit, thematic presentations from diverse fields captured audience attention, prompting deep reflection and discussion. These sessions not only stimulated innovative thinking but also laid solid theoretical and practical foundations for future cooperation and development in the Web3 and digital asset industries.
RWA Finance, a prominent project in the RWA sector, focuses on bridging traditional finance with crypto finance. At the summit, RWA Finance announced plans to offer high-risk control and user-friendly interfaces, enabling traders to access various real-world assets, participate in governance, earn high-yield returns, engage in decision-making, and unlock greater profit opportunities.
L7, a leading global asset management and traffic integration platform, shared four core product directions: CEX services including futures, spot trading, OTC, and derivatives; DEX featuring IDO capabilities, with plans to launch physical and virtual VISA cards for online and offline payments, and incentivizing liquidity providers via mining and staking mechanisms.
Digital asset exchange BIKA showcased its five-year performance data at the summit. The summit also addressed critical topics including the Bitcoin halving, institutional infrastructure development, decentralized computing protocols, AI integration, DePIN, Web3 gaming ecosystems, cross-chain bridge collaborations, and regulatory compliance. Experts offered insightful dialogues and in-depth analysis, revealing key Web3 trends and opening new pathways for innovation within the industry.
During the first panel discussion, Anna L., Chief Marketing Officer at Nulink; Alex Perisic, Business Director at Bit.Store; Devika Mittal, representative from Avalanche; and Jide Fashola, Head of Technology Integration at Cardano, discussed “User-Centric Scalability Approaches.” They emphasized that as user numbers grow, applications must handle increased concurrent access without sacrificing system performance. This requires strong user scalability—ensuring effective handling of growing user bases while maintaining performance levels, thus securing long-term reliability regardless of user expansion.

The second panel, moderated by Eva Yi, Business Manager at LBank, focused on “Beyond Entertainment: Shaping the Web3 Gaming Ecosystem.” Anthony Anzalone, CEO of XION; the founder and CEO of Star Atlas; Shubham Bhandari, Ecosystem Lead at Manta Network; Frank Yu, Investment Director at IOBC; and Christiaan Eisberg, Founder of Str8Fire, emphasized that to achieve true decentralization in Web3 gaming, next-generation games must fully leverage verifiable proofs, asset ownership, and programmability. They also stressed the importance of building sustainable user acquisition and retention loops beyond mere token speculation. The unique advantages of Web3 gaming over Web2 offer players unprecedented experiences and hold transformative potential for the entire gaming industry.
The third panel, hosted by BIKA Global CEO Sergey Sevantsyan, addressed “Real-World Assets, Stablecoins, Liquidity Maximization, Value Creation, and Regulatory Coordination.” Pati Murtazalieva, VP of Global Sales Operations at Sumsub; Dyma Budorin, CEO of Hacken; Alexander de Lorraine, CEO of Archblock; and Pierre Person, CEO of Usual, stated that the explosive potential of the RWA sector in the coming years will depend heavily on infrastructure development and regulatory maturity. Token standardization and compliance are essential milestones for RWA growth. Despite multiple challenges, the sector continues to advance positively.
The fourth panel, led by Mitch Lacsamana, CEO of Metaverse HQ, featured Abdelhadi Shahd Hassan, User Growth Lead at Takadao; Sebastian Forouzani, Technical Lead at Puffer Finance; a Partner at Interop Ventures; and Karel Kubat, CEO of Union. Together, they discussed “Interoperability and Cross-Chain Collaboration in the Web3 Ecosystem,” agreeing that users and traffic will define the future battleground of Web3, with interoperability being a critical frontier and a key breakthrough point for the crypto industry.
The fifth panel, featuring Nico, VP of Investments at MetaStone; Johnason Chan, Co-founder of LBank; a Partner at Blockchain Founders Fund; and a Partner at Fabric Ventures, discussed “Venture Capital: Mapping the Route in the Crypto World.” They pointed out that venture capital fuels Web3 project development by providing funding and investment opportunities, supporting R&D, marketing, team building, and overall project scaling.
The sixth panel, hosted by Lilly Douse, Founder of MOV3, included Sankha Banerjee, Product Strategy Lead at Babylon; NIGO, CMO of TBC; and Bekir Seyhan, CEO of SC Group. They shared unique perspectives on “Bitcoin: Beyond 2024,” discussing Bitcoin’s potential evolution in finance, technology, and society, along with its significance for the crypto market and the global economy.
The seventh panel centered on “Web3 Infrastructure Foundations: Building Web3 Infrastructure and Scalability Together.” Mahmoud, COO of Trendx; Simon Baksys, VP of Business at LayerZero; David Bennahum, Founder of READYgg; Jessica Salomon, Strategic Lead at Ora Protocol; and moderator Nico, VP of Investments at MetaStone, engaged in an in-depth discussion on the topic.
