However, our goals extend far beyond maintaining the status quo. We are honored to announce the launch of the "SquidTG Metaverse."
As many of you already know, The Open Network (TON) presents tremendous growth opportunities. SquidTG is now prepared to build an ecosystem on this network—the SquidTG Metaverse—where our vision encompasses not only gaming but also financial applications and social integrations, ultimately creating a vibrant SquidTG universe within TON.
Let’s dive deeper into the core concepts behind the SquidTG Metaverse.
SquidTG
On February 21, 2024, SquidTG debuted as a Telegram-based inscription game, marking the birth of what we now call the SquidTG Metaverse.
As The Open Network continues to evolve—particularly in decentralized finance (DeFi)—we anticipate it will follow a trajectory similar to Ethereum, achieving remarkable milestones.
Therefore, with a bull market on the horizon, capital will inevitably flow into the TON ecosystem. Notably, stablecoins such as USDT and USDC are rumored to launch on TON, becoming key assets for exchanges and pricing mechanisms, potentially ushering in a DeFi summer on TON.
DeFi Summer
After successfully guiding 50,000 Telegram users to adopt the TON Space wallet, our next goal is to educate them on how to fully utilize their wallet assets. This includes familiarizing users with concepts like Swap, Automated Market Makers (AMM), Liquidity Mining, and upcoming DeFi products such as lending.
We’re still in the early stages.
Essentially, our aim is to replicate the landmark DeFi summer witnessed on Ethereum in 2020—but this time within the TON ecosystem.

Metaverse
Our vision extends beyond just gaming and finance—we aim to build a multifunctional ecosystem. It is precisely this ambition that gave rise to the SquidTG Metaverse.
At this stage, SquidTG will introduce unique Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) infused with social attributes to strengthen community cohesion within the TON ecosystem. This will attract participants from diverse backgrounds to converge around the SquidTG game, collectively advancing the realization of a TON-based Metaverse.
To make participation in the SquidTG Metaverse more accessible, SquidTG game assets will soon be tokenized in the form of the Jetton token $SQG.

To accelerate the development of the SquidTG Metaverse, we have decided to establish its cornerstone: $SQD.
$SQD is the governance token of the SquidTG Metaverse. It will determine the direction of the SquidTG game and the evolution of the Metaverse, and more importantly, serve as a key catalyst for unlocking DeFi summer on TON.

$SQD Tokenomics
From the $SQD tokenomics model, we can see that 20% of tokens are allocated to the IDO, with 51% of raised funds paired with 9.18% of tokens locked in a liquidity pool for 6.9 years. This means the team has no intention of reclaiming these funds—instead, they are being committed permanently to the SquidTG community.
The largest allocations are prioritized for airdrops to SquidTG game users (45.8%) and liquidity mining participants (15%).
Finally, 5% is reserved for ecosystem partners and the core team to foster collaborative growth of the SquidTG Universe and drive TON's expansion.
In short, here are several ways to obtain $SQD:
- Buy eggs and hatch squids in SquidTG to receive $SQD airdrops.

Airdrop
As mentioned above, there are multiple ways to acquire $SQD, with airdrops being the most direct method.
Below are the rules for our first $SQD airdrop, divided into Airdrop 1 and Airdrop 2:
Airdrop 1 (15%): For OG Squids
- Players who joined SquidTG before 00:00 UTC on February 28, 2024, and hold more than zero squids will equally share 15% of the total supply from the Airdrop 1 pool.
Airdrop 2 (15%): For Young Squids
- Younger squids have higher energy, which gradually decreases over time.
- Calculation rule: Each newly hatched squid starts with an energy value of 1. Energy decays exponentially over time, with a half-life of 14 days (decaying by 29.3% after 7 days and 50% after 14 days).
- Half-life calculations are performed per second, meaning decay occurs continuously every second.
For example:
→ Hatch 10,000 squids today, total squid energy = 10,000.
→ After 7 days, if another 20,000 squids are hatched, total energy = 10,000 * (1–29.3%) + 20,000 = 27,070.
→ Another 7 days later, energy = 27,070 * (1–29.3%) = 19,138.
- This energy calculation will run from day one of the game until the end of the IDO, after which a snapshot will be taken. The Airdrop 2 pool will then be distributed proportionally based on each player’s total squid energy.
- The airdrop will be distributed within one week after the IDO concludes.
