The industry-standard CCIP will support the highly anticipated Web3 game NIGHT CROWS, which is set to launch simultaneously in 170 countries on March 12.

March 11, 2024 — Wemade, one of South Korea’s largest game developers and the founding company behind unagi(x), and Chainlink, the industry-standard decentralized computing platform, today jointly announced that unagi(x) has integrated Chainlink CCIP, the industry standard for cross-chain interoperability, on WEMIX. As the official cross-chain infrastructure for the WEMIX network, CCIP supports WEMIX’s expansive gaming ecosystem and powers unagi’s interoperability engine unagi(x)—a full-stack initiative enabling fast on- and off-chain transactions.
The AAA MMORPG NIGHT CROWS will launch globally in 170 countries on March 12 and will feature unagi(x) powered by Chainlink CCIP across six blockchains—WEMIX, Kroma, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Polygon. Interoperability across these distinct networks allows users to enjoy a fully immersive gaming experience while tokenizing their in-game assets on their preferred chain.

Powered by CCIP, unagi(x) enables Web3 gamers to play NIGHT CROWS within a multi-chain ecosystem while effortlessly transferring game tokens and NFTs across different chains. Users can freely choose their gaming chain, connect via the “una wallet,” and exchange game tokens and NFTs. Through this omnichain infrastructure, users can intuitively manage their assets and transfer them across supported networks.
