Beyond the initial confirmed project teams and investors, this summit will officially launch the Bitcoin Layer 2 Open-Source Technical Specification Repository, featuring dedicated roundtable discussions. Preliminary work on the repository has already begun, with plans to complete the framework setup, cross-chain bridge technical solutions summary, and security standards by the end of March.
Led by BTC Security Labs, the specification repository is initiated by this non-profit organization committed to advancing security standards and foundational infrastructure for Bitcoin Layer 2. Comprised of multiple active contributors and institutions within the Bitcoin ecosystem, BTC Security Lab aims to build an open, collaborative, win-win, and mutually beneficial platform.
The repository consists of a series of best practices for scaling solutions, security standards, and open-source component codebases, coveringmultiple sectors across the Bitcoin ecosystem—including Bitcoin Layer 2, RGB, Ordinals, Lightning Network, and Nostr. Through various formats such asscaling solutions, engineering practices, development tools, and research reports, it invites more builders and institutions from the Bitcoin ecosystem to join in co-building efforts, contributing to the long-term prosperity of a critical Web3 narrative.
