The QRDO Foundation, dedicated to the growth and development of the QRDO ecosystem, has announced a strategic partnership with leading blockchain development laboratory EQ LAB to jointly launch the Warden Protocol. This collaboration accelerates the upcoming release of Warden Protocol—an interoperability protocol with intent functionality built on Cosmos and Fusionchain.
Introduction to Warden Protocol
Warden Protocol is a modular, intent-centric blockchain built using the Cosmos-SDK. At its core, it enables users to create vaults and wallets across various blockchains and manage their activities via on-chain intents. Users can create complex multi-leg transactions and safeguard cross-chain operations through sophisticated intents—all executed on-chain by Warden Protocol.
For developers in the space, Warden enables smart contracts to be deployed on Cosmos using Solidity and WebAssembly, while also fostering a modular marketplace for key management solutions, including HSM providers and multi-party computation (MPC) services.
A representative from the QRDO Foundation said: “Warden Protocol represents the next evolution in intent-driven interoperability infrastructure.” They added: “Partnering with the EQ LAB team allows us to realize this ambitious vision and ensure that QRDO token holders see the realization of a truly decentralized, open, intent-centric interoperability and key management protocol.”

SpaceWard, a SAFE-like wallet management and governance platform
EQ LAB will form the core contributing team for Warden Protocol and bring a robust team of 15 core developers to the project.

WARD Token
Warden Protocol plans to introduce the WARD token through a fair launch mechanism. There will be no pre-mine or investor allocations. Instead, initial airdrops and eligibility for incentivized WARD swaps will first be offered to existing QRDO holders. In recognition of public goods contributed to other chains in the Cosmos ecosystem, TIA and ATOM stakers, as well as builders and users from other complementary protocols and chains, will also be eligible to participate. Further details will be announced soon.
The Alfama testnet will go live in the coming weeks, with details about the incentivized testnet to be released shortly.
