Bitget launches new brand video with Lionel Messi under the theme #MakeItCount
To celebrate the release of Messi's new film, Bitget will host a platform competition from January 23 to January 30.
Bitget has launched a new brand film with global football superstar Lionel Messi under the theme #MakeItCount, marking the beginning of their second year of partnership. The film aims to inspire everyone to push beyond limits, seize opportunities, and transform endless challenges into stepping stones toward success.
The new #MakeItCount 2024 film highlights the core values cherished by both Bitget and Messi: fearlessness in the face of adversity, perseverance, and maintaining a positive mindset. It showcases Messi’s journey from childhood, illustrating how he developed courage and resilience, overcame numerous obstacles, continuously improved, and ultimately became the greatest player of all time (GOAT). Like Messi, Bitget is committed to product innovation, long-term vision, staying true to its original mission, and relentless daily improvement—evolving from an obscure platform born during the crypto winter into one of the world's top five cryptocurrency exchanges.
Gracy Chen, Managing Director at Bitget, said: “Messi’s story and Bitget’s growth remind us that greatness isn’t achieved overnight—it comes through persistent determination. In 2024, we will continue our #MakeItCount campaign, exploring the infinite possibilities between sports and Web3. We are excited to work alongside Messi to drive broader adoption of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.”
To celebrate the release of Messi’s new film, Bitget will host a platform-wide competition from January 23 to January 30, offering prizes including $20,000 worth of BGB tokens and tickets to an Inter Milan match at DRV PNK Stadium.
In addition, Bitget plans to organize offline football challenges in emerging markets such as Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Turkey. Bitget will also collaborate with Messi on charitable initiatives under the “Blockchain4Youth” program, which aims to empower the younger generation to shape the future of the crypto world and cultivate top-tier talent for the industry.
Bitget first partnered with Messi in October 2022. During the first year of collaboration, Bitget achieved a series of milestone events and significantly increased its global visibility. According to Bitget’s 2023 Transparency Report, Bitget ranks among the top five derivative trading platforms and top ten spot trading platforms globally. Its user base grew from 8 million to 20 million, while its team expanded from 1,100 to 1,500 employees, delivering high-quality services to users worldwide. In July 2023, Bitget completed a brand upgrade centered around the core philosophy of "Trade smarter," unveiling a new logo, slogan, corporate vision, and visual identity. In September 2023, Bitget hosted its inaugural Web3 Summit, "EmpowerX," in Singapore, celebrating the company's fifth anniversary. Additionally, to support the development of the Web3 ecosystem, Bitget established two funds totaling $100 million.
