Recently, Bitget hosted an X Space event in its Chinese community titled "Sats Launches on Bitget: Will Bitcoin Inscriptions See a Second Spring?" to discuss the rapidly growing Bitcoin ecosystem. Host: Hello everyone, welcome to this AMA co-hosted by Bitget Chinese and Bitget Builder Chinese. I'm Sylvia, your host for today's Space and also the operations lead for Bitget VIP. Our first question today is: compared to traditional spot trading, what stands out as the biggest advantage of the Bitcoin inscription market?
Master Zhong: The biggest advantage is decentralization—there’s no risk or concern about project teams running away. Also, there are no smart contract vulnerabilities to worry about, and you don’t need to authorize various random websites. Plus, the launch environment for new projects is relatively fairer.
Kumi: I think the most prominent advantage is fair distribution. Newcomers, project teams, VCs, and whales all have equal opportunities to participate. It allows ordinary investors like us to earn returns too, which I believe is its greatest strength.
BTC 520: To sum up, there are three key points: listing rewards, holding rewards, and contribution rewards.
Xiao Chi: I mainly want to highlight two aspects. First is full circulation. Second is rapid price appreciation. Due to its unique trading mechanism, prices can spiral upward quickly. But we should recognize both the positive and negative sides of this phenomenon.
Sun Xin: Its purely on-chain nature ensures high transparency. We no longer have to rely on VCs, institutions, or project teams, nor do we need to fear sudden dumps, unlimited unlocks, or security flaws. Therefore, its first major feature is that minting power lies in the hands of retail investors, and secondly, pricing power now belongs to us—the participants.
Ziqidonglai: The inscription space belongs to ordinary retail investors—everyone has a chance to participate. The earliest tier-one allocations circulate among retail users through minting, making it genuinely fair. However, it also has a downside—it can crash 70%, 80%, 90%, or even 99% overnight.
Long'e: The most prominent advantages are fairness and security, along with a broad grassroots foundation. Since everyone participates in minting coins together, BRC-20 series tokens naturally build community support right from the start.
Host: As we all know, Bitcoin will undergo its halving event around May next year. Could each of you share your predictions on how the Bitcoin ecosystem might evolve post-halving, and for regular users looking to get involved, when would be an appropriate time to join?
Sun Xin: In my view, this market cycle will benefit from a triple-layered boost.
First is the Bitcoin halving, happening in less than half a year.
Second is the approval of Bitcoin spot ETFs, which is highly likely and will serve as the strongest catalyst for the next bull run.
Third is the flourishing of the Bitcoin ecosystem. For newcomers wanting to enter the Bitcoin ecosystem, here are a few things to keep in mind:

I've previously shared information about the Shiba inscription. Currently, the community’s main focus remains on foundational development. As for specific future moves, it's hard to predict. Only after solidifying these basics can we attract larger players to join. Many things remain uncertain, but I maintain a calm perspective—if we build strong foundations, everything else will follow. You can already see Shiba building a global consensus community. We can also voluntarily contribute our own efforts to strengthen broader consensus.
