On April 14, the Huobi Night, co-hosted by Huobi and TRON, took place in Hong Kong.
Themed "Huobi in Hong Kong: The Rise of Eastern Power," Huobi Night received strategic support from partners including FireBlocks, Copper, Animoca, Hashkey, Polygon, Circle, and Xinhuo Technology, and attracted enthusiastic attention from the community.
The event brought together numerous industry veterans such as Justin Sun, founder of TRON and member of Huobi Global Advisory Board; Jack Kong, founder of Nano Labs; Bao Er Ye; Du Jun, CEO of Xinhuo Technology; as well as Web3 newcomers like Xiao E Duo Nina. With over a thousand registrants, the atmosphere at the event was extremely lively.
At the event, Huobi announced the official launch of the "Mars Initiative," a series of space exploration activities. The first phase of this initiative aims to send a Huobi user to Mars. Through a series of creative and fun events, one lucky Huobi user will be selected to join Justin Sun on a flight aboard Blue Origin's New Shepard spacecraft. Additionally, Huobi is actively expanding into Hong Kong’s crypto market and is a key investor in Hong Kong’s first Web3 ecosystem fund, aiming to encourage and accelerate the development of Hong Kong's Web3 landscape.
"Use Huobi on Mars!" Justin Sun proudly announced the official launch of the "Mars Initiative." This initiative, which ultimately aims to bring a Huobi user to Mars, consists of 12 phases and will select 12 candidates. After pre-mission training and physical evaluations, one final candidate will be chosen to fly into space with Justin Sun aboard Blue Origin's New Shepard spacecraft.
Throughout the "Mars Initiative," Huobi will distribute lottery numbers to users in the form of NFTs. Users who complete designated tasks will qualify to receive these lottery numbers. After distribution, winners will be fairly and transparently selected using blockchain hash values. In addition, Huobi will distribute tens of millions of dollars in rewards to participating users.

During this year’s Hong Kong Web3 Festival, Hong Kong Web3 Hub announced plans to establish the Hong Kong Web3.0 Ecosystem Fund, promoting the advancement of Hong Kong’s Web3.0 industry through capital investment.
Sun noted that the previous bear market and regulatory policies had suppressed the development of the crypto market. As regulations gradually loosen, Hong Kong is certain to become the next global cryptocurrency hub, and the crypto industry will reach unprecedented heights. However, for the crypto market, Hong Kong is just the beginning—what lies ahead is the rise of “Eastern power.”
At the end of the event, Huobi presented multiple awards across various business areas, recognizing top contributors in Q1 2023, including those in community and live streaming, KOLs, assets & KA, and media.
